About the Role:

As a Data Scientist at Nestlé, you will apply advanced analytics to solve critical business problems in marketing and sales. You’ll work on optimizing marketing spend and trade investments, using your technical skills and business acumen to deliver impactful solutions.

You’ll be hands-on in developing models and equally skilled in coaching junior team members and managing agency partnerships. Beyond building models, you’ll excel at deriving insights, telling compelling stories, and influencing stakeholders to inspire action and drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Utilize advanced analytics to measure marketing and trade investments across diverse business models, categories, and geographies.
  • Partner with stakeholders to optimize marketing and trade spend to support commercial strategies.
  • Build and deliver a portfolio of advanced analytics initiatives.
  • Apply suitable modeling techniques to answer business questions using complex data sets.
  • Share expertise and contribute to developing Nestlé’s internal modeling capabilities.
  • Advocate for data science within the organization and provide advisory support.
  • Solve non-standard problems using innovative data science techniques.

Marketing Mix Modeling, Price & Promotion Analytics, Dynamic Linear Models, State Space Models, Large Data Handling, Data Automation, MS Excel, SQL, R, Python, Statistical Modeling, Data Storytelling, Stakeholder Engagement

Requirements:

  • Master’s degree (or higher) in a quantitative discipline such as Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, Operations Research, Econometrics, or Data Science.
  • Strong technical expertise in advanced analytics techniques and tools (R, Python, SQL).
  • Experience managing large datasets and reporting automation projects.
  • Proven ability to translate complex data findings into compelling narratives that influence business decisions.
  • Comfort working in a matrix environment and influencing senior stakeholders.
  • Understanding of marketing effectiveness metrics, price sensitivity analysis, and commercial strategy.
  • Excellent communication and coaching skills to develop internal capabilities and collaborate with external partners.
